During their time with us we will nurture your child, encourage them to reach their potential and celebrate their individuality. We believe in forming strong relationships with every child, which enables them to feel confident and able to take the next steps on their learning journey.
We welcome all our parents to be a part of our learning community.
We are very fortunate to have lots of support within year 5:
The Year 5 children have P.E on a Thursday and Friday – children will need to come to school wearing their PE Kits on those days – Plain white t-shirt/school blue tshirt, blue school hooded top/sweatshirt, black shorts and black, warm jogging bottoms or leggings. Children are encouraged to take part in every PE lesson as this is an important part of the National Curriculum.
Homework is set and collected on a Thursday- (Thunderbolt Thursday) – Regular reading is encouraged and we aim for our children to read 50 pages a week.
Homework Diary is provided to encourage independence.
