Last Friday, 11 of our students went to Furness Academy to take part in a cross country event. This was their 2nd time taking pat in this event, with the aim being to beat the time they set earlier in the year.

Our Year 4 Brightstars project is well underway and our budding entrepreneurs have been working extremely hard. Over the last couple of weeks they have had visits to Oxley Developments, they have even been in the boardroom to discuss all things business!

Our fabulous Year 5 students also got to spend time away from school last week! 3 whole days! They visited Coniston for lots of fun-filled, challenging activities. Ghyll scrambling, canoeing and the Treetop Nets at Brockhole pushed their courage to the limit and their resilience

Well done to our six Year 4 students who went to Furness College last Thursday to compete in the MegaMAT Quicksticks Hockey Competition and finished in 2nd place!!! They played brilliantly and worked VERY well as a team!
