At Victoria Academy, we are proud to offer a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs each term. We believe every child should have the opportunity to develop their interests, discover new talents, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
Our clubs are designed to be inclusive, engaging and fun, helping pupils build confidence, teamwork and resilience. Whether children enjoy sport, creativity, music or practical skills, there is something for everyone.
Examples of clubs we offer include football, netball, golf, karate, dodgeball, gymnastics, and drumming, alongside creative and performance-based clubs such as art, drama, cooking, brass club, and choir. Our range of clubs changes throughout the year to ensure pupils have access to a broad and exciting selection of activities.
Extra-curricular activities play an important role in school life at Victoria Academy, supporting pupils’ personal development and encouraging a lifelong love of learning.
At Victoria Academy, every year group has the opportunity to take part in a residential visit. These experiences are an important and valued part of school life, offering children the chance to learn, grow, and challenge themselves beyond the classroom.
Residential visits help pupils develop key life skills such as independence, resilience, teamwork, and confidence. Through shared experiences, children build stronger friendships, try new activities, and create lasting memories.
Our residential programme offers a range of exciting destinations, from outdoor adventure trips in the Lake District to cultural visits to London.
