Before half-term, 7 Year 4 students went to Pulse to take part in an U9 Football competition. The boys played brilliant football, winning 2 and drawing 1, progressing through as Group Winners. They managed to reach the Semi-Finals where they were unlucky not to win.

This week, our Year 3 children enjoyed a trip to Brockhole. The had lots of fun making bird feeders, pond dipping, ‘blind leading’ their friends and hugging trees!

This week, Year 4 travelled to Whitehaven to visit The Beacon Museum. They had lots of fun learning all about Roman life, handling replica weapons and getting involved in the interactive scenes. They had lots of fun and were very well behaved. Well done Year

Yesterday afternoon we had our first ‘Worker of the Month’ assembly for years 5 and 6. Congratulations to all those who were awarded certificates for their efforts and thankyou so much to parents, grandparents, family members and friends for joining us to celebrate .

This morning was our first Year 3/4 ‘Worker of the Month’ assembly. What a fantastic turnout! Lots of parents joined us to celebrate the work and achievement of some of our Year 3 and 4 pupils. It was great to see everyone together!
